The Amite Tangi Digest is located Amite City, in the heart of Tangipahoa Parish serving as the parish seat. Amite is home of the Amite Oyster Festival and the Tangipahoa Parish Fair. The newspaper was established in 1867 and has proudly served the community through news and advertising. The paper won the Louisiana Press Association's Newspaper of the Year for 2007 and 2009. The newspaper covers the entire north section of Tangipahoa Parish from Independence to Kentwood.

Kentwood News Ledger, established in 1934, serves the Kentwood area, located at the far north end of Tangipahoa Parish bordering on Pike County, Mississippi. Kentwood is known for its dairy industry and serves as the home of Kentwood Spring Water. Kentwood proudly boasts of being the hometown of pop star Britney Spears and many NFL football players who regularly return home to benefit their hometown. St. Helena Echo serves St. Helena Parish, established in 1857, which is nestled between Tangipahoa and East Feliciana Parish with a population of 4,500 households. St. Helena Parish, consisting of mostly rural area, is known for its tall pine timbers, and hosts the St. Helena Forest Festival each year in September. The newspaper office is located in Greensburg, the parish seat.
