FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – September 15, 2014 HAMMOND – The Southeastern Louisiana football team held firm at No. 3 in the Sports Network Poll and dropped a spot to No. 4 in the Football Championship Subdivision Coaches’ poll, which were released on Monday.
In an evening of remembrance and celebration, the organizers of the annual Relay for Life hosted dinner at Blythewood Plantation, one of the evening’s sponsors. Relay chairman Tonya Maybry welcomed survivors, family members and friends to the gathering.
In the area, winning was the theme from last week’s prep football action. Amite, Kentwood, Oak Forest, Sumner, Loranger, and Independence, all picked up wins last week on the grid iron.
