Tangipahoa Parish Fire District #1 and the Roseland Fire Department responded to a fire on Shady Grove Loop which is off of Highway 51 north of Amite. When the fire department arrived smoke was pouring out the home. No one was injured in the fire and the cause was not yet known. Also, responding to the call was the Amite Police Department and Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office.
